Paris Packaging Week 2026: KURZ presents innovative finishing and brand protection solutions for the international packaging market
Fürth/Germany, February 15, 2026: Paris Packaging Week celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026 - a quarter of a century in which the trade fair has become a central stage for pioneering packaging innovations. On February 5 and 6, brands, designers and technology providers will meet in Paris to provide new impetus for the future of packaging. LEONHARD KURZ will once again be there, showcasing pioneering solutions in the areas of finishing, direct decoration, product protection and sustainable processes at stand F110.
Diverse finishing options for strong brand appearances
In Paris, KURZ will be presenting a wide range of finishing solutions that help brands to create high-quality and differentiating designs. With product lines such as LUXOR®/ALUFIN®, LIGHT LINE®, COLORIT®, LUMAFIN® and SILVER LINE®, the company will be demonstrating its creative diversity - from classic metallic effects and colorful accents to semi-transparent and holographic designs. These technologies open up almost limitless creative possibilities for modern packaging concepts and design-intensive premium products. In addition, modern depth and transparency effects enable precise highlighting of design features for sectors such as beauty, luxury, food and beverages.
Direct decoration and new technological standards with ISIMAT
Another focus of the trade fair presentation will be on ISIMAT's direct decoration technologies. The KURZ subsidiary will be demonstrating how glass, plastic, tubes and aerosol cans can be decorated precisely and to a high standard - including sophisticated geometries and complex packaging shapes.
With inLINE FOILING, a unique, heat-free process for the efficient decoration of cylindrical hollow bodies will be presented, which enables holographic elements and high edge definition. With Digital inLINE FOILING (DiF), ISIMAT is also presenting a further development that enables 360° metallization on cylindrical articles for the first time. The digitally applied adhesive is applied directly in the transfer unit, eliminating the need for upstream screen printing. This increases production flexibility and opens up additional options for using other printing technologies in the same process step.
Product security through combined physical and digital protection mechanisms
In the area of brand protection, KURZ SCRIBOS is presenting solutions that intelligently combine physical and digital security mechanisms. With TRUSTSEAL® ID, haptic effects and digital features merge to create smart, phygital product protection. The individualized label combines visible OVD effects with hidden security features and enables copy protection on several levels. At the same time, it offers intuitive smartphone verification via the app-based ValiGate® technology and can be seamlessly integrated into existing production processes.
This combination of optical, physical and digital security functions ensures clear product authentication and strengthens trust in the brand. In addition, the connection to digital platforms such as SCRIBOS 360 opens up additional possibilities in the areas of counterfeit detection, traceability and consumer interaction.
Responsible use of materials and circular processes
The topic of sustainability also plays a central role. With RECOSYS® 2.0, KURZ presents its take-back and recycling system for transfer carriers, which is used for further processing into rPET. The recycled material can thus be used for numerous applications such as technical textiles. KURZ will also be presenting material-reduced solutions with improved resource utilization without compromising the quality of the decors or the design effect. These include reduced transfer substrates from 12 μm down to 6 μm and optimized layer structures that significantly reduce the amount of material used and at the same time enable high-quality surface decoration. The presentation in Paris underlines KURZ's commitment to actively shaping the future of packaging - with innovations that further develop design freedom, product protection and resource efficiency in equal measure. The developments on show provide new impetus for the combination of design, technology and responsibility and provide the industry with important orientation for future packaging generations.
