From vision to packaging: KURZ inspires at LUXE PACK Monaco with new design trends and technologies
Fürth/Germany, September 17, 2025: For design and packaging experts worldwide, LUXE PACK Monaco is a must-attend event in the trade fair calendar. In 2025, LEONHARD KURZ will once again present itself as an innovation driver in the industry and show how visionary design, technological expertise, and decades of experience can be combined to create inspiring packaging solutions. Under the motto ‘From idea to real product’ KURZ will take trade fair visitors on a creative journey through the world of surface finishing.
Trend impulses: 60° creative boxes to inspire number two plus twelve exclusive trend colors
One highlight of this year's trade fair appearance is the new edition of the ‘60° creative boxes to inspire’ packaging series. These established trend boxes are an integral part of KURZ's innovation culture and offer current insights into design developments, color trends, and new decors from KURZ, highlighting social trends - the inspiration behind the designs and colors.
This year's edition of ‘60° creative boxes to inspire,’ which will be presented exclusively to the public at the start of the trade show, shows how global uncertainty is giving rise to new creativity. The KURZ Trend Team has defined the following four themes:
- "Shades of Armour: Resilience is the new weapon": Quiet resilience replaces actionism. Muted colors and robust materials create safe spaces and new strength.
- "Average Hero: Normal is fine for me": The everyday becomes heroic. The designs appear raw, spontaneous, and tongue-in-cheek.
- "AntiThesis: New narratives for different perspectives": Opposites collide – ironic, absurd, disruptive. A plea for change through ambivalence.
- "Sportify: Let the game do the talking!": Sport as a source of inspiration between competition, elegance, and inclusion. Diversity and lightness characterize the design.
As usual, the four themes are accompanied by surprising trend colors and new SILVER LINE® trend decors, including ‘Ambitious Yellow LUMAFIN® 711 Yellow’ – a multi-layered yellow with a profound effect – and ‘SILVER LINE® Trivia,’ which heroically highlights everyday moments (reinterpreted).
